Tokoname Higashi Primary School
The school is in the central area of Tokoname City. Tokoname is famous for ceramics and there are some pottery mills around the school. It is a public school, founded in 1887, with 475 students (237 boys and 238 girls), aged from 6 to 12 years, 26 teachers, 17 classes and 4 administration personnel. (in 2001)
There are three buildings. One is four stories and the others are three stories. There is also a gymnasium, a swimming pool and playground.

School begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 3:40 p.m. Four classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon.
We would prefer to visit in August and host in September.
