Saint Anthony School, founded in 1970, is a private academic institution located in Moravia, a town 5 miles away from the capital city, San Jose, Costa Rica. Surrounded by approximately 4.000 square meters of gardens, it is a private, trilingual (Spanish/English/French) institution with Pre-school, Elementary, Middle and High School.
Saint Anthony School has a family atmosphere where education has a holistic orientation, based on Love, Wisdom and Service as leading values.  
Saint Anthony entered the program of Schools Associated to UNESCO, in 1982. Since then, it has worked on human understanding and preservation of the world. Great emphasis is given to creative work in Literature as well as in Science, Math, Music and Arts. Great significance is also given to sports (soccer, cheerleading, basketball, atletism).
The Student’s Council is elected following the same democratic procedure of Costa Rica´s Government.
Saint Anthony joined I.S.S.E. in 1988 and their main interest is to share experiences with other countries and learn about their school systems, languages, cultures and traditions.
School year: February to December. Mid – term vacation: Three weeks in June-July and one week in September. Saint Anthony School prefers to visit in January, July or September and host in MarchApril.
