Birmingham Primary School
At Birmingham Primary School we provide a learning environment that challenges students and allows them to develop the skills to become confident, responsible, happy members of society. The school currently has over six hundred students and is nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges.
From landscaped gardens to a rural, bush environment the students have access to a variety of play areas. The main building houses twelve classrooms and a well resourced library. The grade three area is flanked by our frog bog that recreates natural habitat for a variety of native frogs, birds and mammals. The senior school borders the oval and one of three adventure playgrounds. A fire refuge hall houses a modern music room and equipment for our extensive sports program.
From the arts to sporting endeavours, aerobics to week long camps in country Victoria, Birmingham Primary School caters to the rich and varied interests of the students and families in the Mt Evelyn and Lilydale area. At Birmingham Primary School we are excited to begin our involvement in the ISSE program in 2009. We look forward to learning and experiencing more of cultures from around the world and sharing the Australian way of life with others.
We are very proud to be accredited members of the Council of International Schools since 2017. We are in a semi-rural location in Mt. Evelyn, at the foothills of the Mt. Dandenong Ranges in the picturesque Yarra Valley.
We are the largest primary school in the area with 700 students. Birmingham has a wonderful community feel and we are dedicated to ensuring students are engaged in high quality education with a strong focus on becoming global minded citizens.
