Sri Kuala Lumpur Primary School is a Malaysian Private School which
has an enrolment of 2000 students in various levels from Preschool (4/5
years old) to Form 5 (17 years old). The school has a large campus about
5.5 acres that includes fully air-conditioned classrooms, 4 music rooms,
2 libraries, a swimming pool, an AVA room, 2 multi-purpose halls, 2
large dining halls (canteen), a large and fully equipped gymnasium,
a drama and arts centre and many other facilities. The school is well
equipped with up-to-date technology. We have 8 computer labs using Apple
Macintosh and PCs.
The ISSE programme was established in 2000. The hosting program at Sri
Kuala Lumpur is educational, exciting, challenging and absolutely busy!
Although this is our fourth year of involvement, we pride ourselves
on having achieved the ISSE objectives by establishing friendship between
participating partners.
Sri Kuala Lumpur usually visits overseas schools in November and hosts
that school during the months of April/May of the same year.
Sri Kuala Lumpur visited Upwey South Elementary School, Melbourne Australia
in the year 2000 and hosted City Montessori School, Lucknow, India in
May 2001. In the year 2002 Weeden Heights Primary School visited us
in July and we went over in November. We postponed ISSE programme in
2003 because of SARS.
