DESCRIPTION OF SCHOOL:

Nishiura Kita elementary school has a total enrollment of 291 students in 6 levels from Year 1(7 year olds) to Year 6(12 year olds). Our school has two three-story buildings that include 13 classes, a science room, a music room, a home economics room, an art room , a library, a computer room, an assembly hall. And our school is equipped with a gym, a pool, a sumo wrestling ring, running road and a large play ground. Our school was newly rebuilt in 1998.
OUR school expects our students to be faithful and thoughtful and live through with their strong mind and learn independently.


We have some events such as A School excursion, Camping, Sports Day, Social study trips, A Sumo Festival, A Concert, Visiting Days.
The school day starts at 8:20 and ends at 3:35.


The ISSE program was established in 1996. The hosting program at Nishiura Kita is more exciting and interesting. We pride ourselves on friendliness amongst teachers, students and our overseas visitors. Nishiura Kita has visited schools in Australia and U.S.A. We hope we’ll visit overseas school in August and host that school in September or October.

DESCRIPTION OF SCHOOL:
The school is located to the north of Tokoname City. It is in a wonderful environment surrounded by many trees and paddy fields. It is a public school with 254 students (131 boys and 123 girls)aged from 6 to 12 years, 9 classes and 18 staffs. It was built in 1974.
There are two buildings-one is four stories tall with classrooms and a library; the other is a gymnasium. There is also a swimming pool and a playground.
And there is a grove with excellent sports facilities, called Miwa Land,
next to the playground. Most of students play there throughout the year.

School trip, field day, camping.

DESCRIPTION OF SCHOOL:
Nishiura Minami Primary School is a public school which is comparatively small in Japan with 6 classes, 156 students (94 boys, 62 girls) and 14 teachers. ItÅfs located to the south of Tokoname City. The country spreads to the eastside of the schoool, the sea can be seen westside of it. Though our school building is only one with four stories, there are spare rooms next to the each classroom. We call them Play Rooms and we use them as showrooms of the studentÅfs works and as meeting places. We also have a gymnasium, a computer room, an audio-visual room, a library, a music room and a science room. All children have many opportunity to do activities which Labor service (to cultivate sweet potatos, to clean and so on) and play. And the children active in their clubs-the soccer, the basketball, the softball and the band club as the extracurricular lessons.

Onizaki kita Elementary School is located in the north of Tokoname over looking ISE BAY
It is a public school established in 1873
It is the second smallest school in Tokoname with 93 girls and 114 boys aged 6through 12 ,and 17 staff ,and 13 teachers There are 7 classrooms, a library , a music room, an art room, cooking room, science laboratory, a computer laboratory, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and a wide playground. The school is well equipped.
The purpose of Onizaki-kita Elementary School is to help students
1) To respect and find themselves
2) To be thoughtful and to think for themselves
3) To be cooperative and active with the community
We have three terms in school year
1st term April through July
2nd term September through December
3rd term January through March
We have a 40 day summer vacation (July 20 through August 31) a one week winter vacation (December 22 through January 6) and a 2 week spring vacation (March 23 through April 6) Students have classes from 8:20 am to 3:40 PM ( 4 classes in the morning and 2 classes in the afternoon) They have school lunch together at school and many subjects are offered such asphysical education, computer education, music, painting, crafts, cooking and sewing They enjoy field trips, camping, sport day, club activities and more school presentations as well Onizaki-kita would prefer to host in September-October and visits only during summer vacation .
We have visited Australia and Malaysia We would like to have more experiences with different countries and schools .

DESCRIPTION OF SCHOOL
Municipal Ohno Elementary School has 332 pupils divided among 13 classes
from the 1st grade(7 years old) to the 6th grade (12 years old).There is also one special class for the handicapped.
The number of the teaching staff is 22,10 male and 12 female teachers. All the classes are conducted by the teachers without any volunteer help. Each teacher has 25 or 26 periods per week. Every teacher went through a course of study for the teaching profession at university, received a teacher’s license, and passed an examination for service. They are able to work until the age of 60 at most. The seniority wage system has been adopted for the teachers.
As aims of education, subjects, and periods for each subject are established by the curriculum of the Japanese government. Each school is conducting its distinctive education within the limits of the established curriculum.

The school is in the central area of Tokoname City. Tokoname is famous for ceramics. An international airport will be opened in the coastal watersof Tokoname City in 2005.
It is a public school, founded in 1887, with 410 students( 212 boys and
198 girls ) aged from 6 to 12, 19 teachers, 14 classes and
4 administrative personnel. There are two buildings - one is four stories
(south) and the other is three stories (north).
There are also a gymnasium, a swimming pool and a playground.

It is a public school, founded in 1887, with 475 students (237 boys and 238 girls), aged from 6 to 12 years, 26 teachers, 17 classes and 4 administration personnel. (in 2001)
